Tatsumi Iwai

Representative of Gobun . A designer who embraces things and events and creates new movements from the local area.
In 2016, he was selected as one of the "10 Young People Creating the Future from Tohoku" sponsored by the Tohoku Economic Federation, and studied abroad at Brunello Cucinelli. He aspires to one day take on an initiative similar to that of the company in his hometown of Gonohe. After working at Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd., he joined Kaneiri Co., Ltd. as a designer. As director of the Tohoku Standard Market run by the company, he works on products with traditional Tohoku artisans and exhibits at exhibitions and events such as the Te Te Te Business Meeting and JAPAN HOUSE.
In 2023, he launched his own brand , Gobun .
